One of my initial build-to-sell projects was an online game store named Indie Market. This initiative gave indie-game devs a platform where they were able to upload, promote, and sell their games online. This project took a few months to complete and featured systems which were used by thousands of developers and gamers each month. These complex systems allowed developers to upload and monitor their games performance by using a pleasing GUI and gave gamers the ability to earn through referrals.

Although the site was complex, I managed to build the site on top of a basic version of Wordpress. Most of the default code was changed in order for Wordpress to be used as a multi-vendor-based online marketplace. Aside from the development section of Indiemarket, plenty of graphical work went into creating its simple and standout UI. Software such as Adobe XD helped to create responsive wiereframes which I then used as blueprints during the development stages.

The developments of the brand took many attempts and experiments before I felt the brand image was successful and appealing to the eye. I found that the contrasting colours of yellow and blue stood out and was very easy to spot. This then resulted in my decision to style the site's accents in those colours while keeping the sites background white to ensure they were still prominent. I found that the bold font and large borders went well with the overall appearance which resulted in me incorporating those factors in the text-based logo.

Once the site was fully developed, I then spent some time and resources on advertising through various social media platforms to kicksart the sites growth and profitability. Soon after I installed Google Adsesne and started generating revenue. This consistent revenue stream then went onto be a leading factor in the sale and demand of the site when I eventually went onto sell It. The new Miami based owner then requested some business cards developing which were included in the sale. The new owner then went onto promote the site and its invested devs.
