The second part of helping to develop the Thulya Local initiative was to develop the user interface for desktop and large-screen devices. These wireframes / samples I designed were then handed directly to Thulyas development team where they implemented my designs throughout their site. As the desktop version of Thulya Local is so vast, featuring thousands of pages and millions of user generated posts, I developed samples in 7 stages.

The samples I developed were mostly done on Photoshop. I took screenshots of their current page design, which showed the correct inputs and outputs and manipulated the site's layout to change its appearance and the overall user flow. However, some changes had to be done from scratch. When this was the case I used a template I created for myself and developed the samples using a selection of tools and software such as Photoshop, Adobe XD, CSS and more.

As well as developing screen samples for the site, I also had to develop various icons and logos for pages and buttons. Most of these icons were developed or redeveloped using Photoshop and some aspects were designed on Illustrator. The logos / icons which appear on the header are examples of logos and icons designed by me. Due to the number of pages developed, I wasn't able to showcase all the screen samples which I worked on so decided to just show a few for examples.

As this was the second part of creating samples for Thulya Local, I felt happier with my design choices as I already helped to craft the layout for their flagship mobile app. Developing samples for larger screens was slightly more challenging but also more enjoyable due to this factor. As the site and Thulya grow, I hope to develop more samples and other graphical items in the near future. I continue to work with Thulya on a daily basis doing tasks I truly enjoy.
